QR Code

A square shaped barcode whose sole purpose is to take up space on a brochure. Usually added by an overly ambitious boomer marketer who wants to add a QR code to every piece of content in hopes that their users find time during their busy schedule to download an app that is suitable for scanning QR codes (without realizing that their phone camera already supports this capability). Most users just identify the company on the brochure and then google it to find the information right away. QR codes have less than a 0.1% chance of being scanned
