Cold Calling

The act of a fresh new high school grad calling a CXO's phone number whom they've never met before nor have shown any interest in anything you are selling. This includes reading a sales script that marketing wrote to check a checkbox to align the marketing and sales team. Scripts include dynamic fields such as [insert customer name here], [insert industry], [insert hello] or [change your name here]. Leads phone number is usually found via a paid list or business card found on a trade show table.
